Eligibility criteria for Admission

Admission to the Ph.D. program is not guaranteed even if you don't meet the basic requirements. Departments may also establish special admission standards for shortlisting. Candidates who have been shortlisted will be required to take an admissions test, which may include a written exam and/or an interview. Candidates accepted into the program with degrees like M.Sc., B.E., B.Pharm., etc. will need to complete coursework upon admission.

Procedure for admission

Full-Time:

Candidates who fall under the full-time category must conduct research in university departments, colleges, campuses, affiliated engineering schools, and architecture schools. They must also be available during working hours for associated extracurricular and curricular activities.

Part-Time:

Candidates from the following groups are eligible to apply for the part-time program. Full-time instructors in government-funded, publicly assisted, and independently funded polytechnic colleges as well as university departments and colleges.
